Stone of excellent quality has been broken out during the week, as work progresses in connection with the newly discovered reef at Tui. The reef has been traced for a considerable length through the Ruakaka L. H., and is now Ijeing stripped close to where it was first discovered. Generally a very confident I'eeling is abroad thai the " boom will extend eve long to this district ; as the knowledge that vast reefs of undoubted value, am here simply awaiting the introduction of capital and scientific appliances to yield a rich return to tho investor, cannot fail to attract and retain tho attention of those on the search for promising fields for investment. Within the past week two more claims of thirty acres each have boen applied for lit Tui.
