Washington, January 9. —The AttorneyGeneral of Missouri submitted a motion ia the Supreme Court to dismiss, for want of jurisdiction, the case of Hugh M. Brooks, alias W. H. Maxwell, who is now in V^iaon in St. Louis under sentence of death for the murder of Charles A. Prellor. Tha Attorney-General maintains that the case does nob present a Federal question, and that the Court cannot take jurisdiction over it. Counsel for the prisoner argues m a voluminous brief that the case does present Federal questions. .'
