Horrible Story of a Human Sacrifice.

American advices just received report a horrible occurrence in the house of a " faith doctor" at Setma, Alabama, on the 17th ult. A nogro named William" Jordan had for the past twelve raonbhs been practising as a "faith doctor" at Selma, nnd had drawn a number of people to his new pro-feß-iom On the night in question several women- had assembled, in his house, including Mary Moore, Lucy Heard and Frances Drive. Jordan gave out that he was going to hold a special Passover service, and said hei wanted a "sacrifice." Tho woman Drive, who was also coloured, stated her willingness to nubmit. 'Sho laid her head on a table, and Jordan, giving Lucy Heard a sword, oommandftd her to cut Frances Drive's head off.
