Lokdox, March 7. A letter from Quoen Victoria to the sister of the late General Gordon has been published deploring the stain left on England through Gordon's cruel fate. Wilfred Blunt has been realeased from Gahvay Gaol. The liiglit Hon. Mr Goschen, Chancellor of the, Exchequer, will introduce his budget on March 15th. It is expected that a surplus of over £3,000,000 will be shown. The House of Commons has approved of the report of the Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Agriculture, but rejected the report of the Committee on Scotch Bills, on the ground that the carrying out of the recommendation would be virtually an allow** ance of Home Eule.
London, March 7» Mr Gladstone and Sir H. F. TrevelIyan supported the motion for the Committee to whom all bills affecting Scotland were to be referred. The motion was negatived by 77.
Sofia, March 6. It is understood that Prince Nicholas Leuchtenberg will probably be the Czar's nominee for the Bulgarian throne.

Berlin, March 7th, The Emperor Wilhilm is no better and is still confined to his bed.
Washington, March 6. A treaty has been signed by the Chinese Minister and Secretary Bayard, forbidding Chinese labourers to come to the United States.
San Eemo, March 6. The official bulletins state that the condition of the Crown Prince's health is satisfactory, excepting that the larynx is unimproved. Professor Waldemar reports that the expectoration is not cancerous.
