" I will guido tlieojwith mluo eye."— Bs. xrxli.B. Whoh the way looks dark and dreary. When tho storm clouds bide tho blue, When the toilpomo frath grows weary, Evening shadows dim the viow ; When with f oar my hoart is beating, With a droad I scarco know why— Thoh I hear a voioe repeating, " I will guido taeo with mino eyo." When I think upon tho morrow, Wondering what tho morn shall brrng. Fearing lest some hiddon sorrow May bo linking with its sting ; When unbuUlnn tear-drops When, unwishotl-fpr. heaves the sigh. Then como acconts, if 1 lißten, " I will guido thoo with mine eye." And when Hfo's young joy is flowing, Fairy sunbeams on my way, Swcotost roses round me blowing, And my heart is fresh and gayThen, lest I should e'er bo finding Earthly joy could satisfy.
