BURNING OF THE ISLINGTON THEATRE.
Great excitement was caused early yesterday morning by the burning of theGrand Theatre at Islington almost immediately after it had been cleared of its enormous audience. Fortunately no one was burnt, although the flames took rapid possession of the building. The actors have lost all their stage properties and some of their private wardrobes, while the destruction of the theatre has thrown about three hundred people out of employment.
