A Remarkable Diamond.
There will be offered for sale by auction at Foster's Gallery in Pall Mall, a remarkable diamond, known as the Orange Diamond, weighing 115 carats, about 10 carats heavier than the Koh-i-noor. This stone was found in the Orango river, and is of a decided orange hue. It was cut in London, and was in* tended as a Jubilee grift to the Queen, but* Her Majesty does not seem to have rec©|ye4 it. It is stated that at no London auction has so large a brilliant been offered for public competition.
Louisville boasts of having had a child born in a street car, but that is nothing very remarkable. In Pennyslvanja a child was born in a railway, accommodation train, grew into a newsboy, then into a brakeman, was afterwards promoted to conductor j and finally died of old age before the train reached the end of the first trip. : „
