Salvini's Critic.
Speaking of his wonderful career in 'Othella,' Salvini, the eminent tragedian, said that what he considered the most genuine compliment he ever received was paid him at Buffallo, during his recent tour. In the scene where Othello spurns lago, just as Salvini raised his foot over the tempter, a man in the gallery yelled excitedly, ' Hold on there — irickin' barred ;' and he blew a police whistle.
