Lost in the Bush.
Messrs Y. Y. Brown and T. H. Harwood, who went on a prospecting trip to Bynoe Harbour, South Australia, nave been lost in the bush. Mr Brown has been for many years' U- member of the firm of Adcock Bros, r and has recently joined the Port Darwin Mercantile and Agency Company afc Palmerston. Mr Harwooa is the assayer for the banks. On Saturday the Maggie 1 ©turned, giving information thab Messrs Y. Y. Brown, Harwood, and S. Y. Brown had landed ; and, after finding themselves bushed, they differed as to the course to steer. Messrs V. ( Y. Brown and Harwood went in one direction and Mr S. Y. Brown another. Mi* S. Y. Brown stumbled upon the launch, and waited until, Saturday morning, when, finding the others did not return, he camped at the landing, and sent the Maggie to Port Darwin for help. Search parties hare been sent out, all the parties taking suitable food for exhausted persons. This urihappy event has cast a gloom over the town* and we fear, a calami* 1 tbuajissue. , Bynoe Harbqur ia a large inlet of lying immediately to the south-west of Port varwin.
