Afte* some delay nt the post a good start was effected, and Clown at oiK-e assuming the leal maintained his adtantage, passing the stand with Wapiti second. Wave] Hack Kace, 15sovs.— Loo, 1 : Eaupo 2. Jubilee Stakes (Handicap) 50 sov.>:~ Clown, 1 ; Earnest, 2 ; Britannia, 3. This was ■one of the best races of the flay. Clown, as be! ore, took the lead and kept it till the finish. The weather was all that coul \ be desired, and tho proceedings were attended with trie utmost Bu«<e-s. The course needs improvemsnts, but this will be effected before next meeting F=rom I'XJO to 2000 people were present during the day.
