A PARROT STORY.

A few years ago I was steaming down the Garonne, between Bordeaux and Pauillac, to stay with some English .friends (who were on board at the time). a&their ehateati in Medoc. A iow_ mites - further on , " Stop her !" again resounded, froja the same Quarter, and, -jLhe vessel wag,. agaia stopped, wi£h the same futile result/.
