The Native Minister has received a telegram from Te Kooti, in which that chief istntes that in deference to the Niifcive Minister's' wishes ho will nofc visit Poverty Bay ab the' present time, or at any rtthe/ time a#rtin»t the wishes pf Government. H»» asserts that his reason tor desiring to visit Poverty Bay was with a view of making peace with the Europeans and Muorios in that disiiict.
