Sinco starting to drive along the oourao of the reef m the prospectors mine, a distance of 30ft. has boon accomplished, and the reef is now hemp broken out to a width of fully fuur feet without any sign of cither of the wals. la the present face of the level theie is a portion of tho lode, about 12 inches iv width, whioh carries a high per oentago of both gold and silver, and present indications go a long way towards proving that this deposit will improve us depth is attained upon it espuoiuJly under the point where it was first discovered by the prospector. Of late the manager has iurnel his attention to prospecting other parts of the mine and this work has resulted in the discovery of another shoot of the precious metal, at a point about 500 feet south of tho above mentioned workings. From all parts of thojuiue thfire aro now about 20 tons of ore ti gras*, and this is being taken out to tho main road as quickly as paok horses o m bo obtained to perform the work of conveyance.
