War Material for Sydney.
The sailing vessel Cairnbulg, which arrived ab Sydney on October 3rd, brought no less than 89 packages of military stores for the New South Wales Government These stores include heavy guns, gun carriages, fittings, and shields or armour plates, and weigh in all 144 tons. The guns and armour- plating are of the latest type, and were supplied by the well-known firm of Sir William Armstrong and Co., Elswiok, Newcustle-on-Tyne. The order for these stores was sent home in 1885.
