AN ENGLISH EXPERT. Wellington, October 12.
Mr Henry Tapp, a raining expert, has arrived hero by the direct steamer Rimutaki, and leaves for Auckland by thes.s. Wanaka to-morrow. He is commissioned by a syndicate at Home to inspect auriferous lend in the Coromandel and Thames districts. He also proposes to investigate the finds at Waifcoa and Hikntaia. Besides this he is the' representative of the Thames Foreshore Gold. Recovery Company.
