During tho past month 2,9 1 9 ozs golJ hnvo beou bouglit by Bank of Now Zealand. Application was niado in Warden's Court this afternoon l»y R. Alelirinn for a licensed holding of 30 acres for the Prospectors ground at Maritoto, Ilikutaia, also for a special claim, re«ideneu site, and permission to construct a tramway and water race. Tho whole of tho applications, were adjourned tdl 20th itist, pending ttio decision in case of plaint lodged by Humphrys.
