The son of M. Schnaebelle, sixteen years of age, hos been arrested by the German authorities for affixing a seditious placard on a post on the Lorraine frontier.
CAPTURE OF FRENCH CONVICTS. Brisbane, September 21. Twelve escaped convicts from New Caledonia have been anesbed here and imprisoned until they can be handed over to the French authorities.
GERMANY AND SAMOA. London, September 21. The Hamburg " Press " protestsagain f-b any separation of the other Islands of Samoa from Upolu, as the group is of the greatest value to Germany.
