Emm Bey
The messengers despatched to inform Enrin Bey of the approach of the Stanley Expedition, armed at M'Liern, on the east shore of Albert Nyanza, at the beginning of May, after having been detained by King Kassike and King M'Wanga. If they were able to cross tho Albert Nyanza, it is thought (according to a despatch from Zanzibar, August 15th), they must have reached Emm Bey about the end of Slay. It is stated he was in the (Jmkaro district about the beginning of that month, being e?i route to Lake Mutanzig by way of the Kakibbi River. He was in good healthy
