A Ballooning Feat.

A San Francisco aeronaut, T. R. Baldwin, made a successful descent by paraohule from a balloon at Kockaway Beach on August 9th. He dropped 1,000 foot, and was 84 seconds in doing so, bunging 1 up in shallow water, from whence he wib lakfii by boats. The- distance of descent nas announced to be 5,000 feet, but the balloonibt's courage failed him, and he reduced it one-lifth.
