The Jubilee Naval Review.

The naval review was throughout a great success, but it did not pa*s without a slight and unfortunate incident. At the outset of the review, while the gur.s weie being loaded on the gunboat Kite to lire the royal salute, a charge exploded, injuring four men, one fatally. The Queen, on hearing of the accident, sent a kind message of inquiry, asking to bo informed e\cry day of how the wounded men progies&ed. Besides three British squadrons, there were also present at the review two French warships, a Dutch corvette, and a German frigate, the crews whereof heartily cheered the Queen, to whom the foreign officers were presented with the British captains aboard the ltoy.il yacht.
