Arrest of a New Zealand Clergyman.

At the City PoliceCourfc, Adelaide, William Radclifte, who stated that he was a clergyman of the Church of England, was charged with having committed a breach of the Bankruptcy Laws of New Zealand, and that he was a fugitive. He was arrested on board the Orient, bound for England. Defendant stated he had been chaplain to the Bishop of Chrietchurch, and was also at one time a chaplain in India. He owed about £100, but he had left £70 with a lawyer for settlement. He was remanded for 14 days, bail being refused.
