IN pursuance of " The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881, I, Herbert William Brabant, Returning Officer, for tho Eloctoial Dibtrict of Tauianga, do heieby give notice that by virtue of a wi it, bearing dato the Twenty-sixth day of August, 1887, under the hand of the Clerk of the Wiitfl, an Election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as Member for tho said Electoral^ District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place at the Native Commissionei's Couithouse, Tauranga, at noon on SATURDAY, the Seventeenth day of SEPTEMBER, 1887, and that the Poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several Poll ing-places of tho said District on MONDAY, the Twenty-sixth day of September, 1887.
