The men refused to work this morning, and some of the ears weie got out by substitutes timid the jeers and groans of the j>trikeis>, and some thieats, but no serious disturbance took place. This afternoon an arrangement v.as come to, the company planting 1 the concessions demanded, except as to being compelled to employ only unionist men. The company also guarantee not to ml ace the wage? for 12 month?.
