Death of Brigham Young's Successor.

John Taylor, who succeeded Brigham Young as President of the Mormon Church, died at 8 o'clock p.m. on July 25th, in Utah. The exact place is not given, as the President was in hiding from the law on account of polygamous practices. Taylor was in hi& seventy-ninth year, and joined the Mormon Church in 1839. He was made oneof the Twelve in 1838, and was a missionary for twenty years ; afterwards he edited various church papers and publications.
