DEATH OF BISHOP.
Bishop died at 4.15 July 3rd at a lodging-hou&e at the corner of Waßhingtonstreet and Dunbar alley. On Saturday afternoon Bishop was very troublesome in the city receiving hospital refusing to permit I)rs. Buckley and Martineant to .make an examination of his wound or to take any medicine offered to him. He insisted upon leaving the hospital, and the doctors, thinking it best to accede to his request, permitted his removal. The only person present at the death was John Ireland, a hired nurse, who states that Bishop "was perfectly conscious when he died, but although asked to make a will made no response. The doctors believe that death resulted from the chest cavity being perforated by the bullet. An autopsy will be held and the inquest will take place on Wednesday. Mrs Yon did not betray any sorrow when she was informed of Bishop's death. A oharge of murder has been booked against her.
