Remarkable Trip.

The most remarkable steaming feat that has yefc taken place between London and Australia has been accomplished by the R.M.S. Ormuz, which, it will be remembered, was built at considerable expense by the enterprising Orient Company to meet the requirements of the ever increasing trade between the colonies and the mother country. This grand specimen of naval architecture steamed into Port Jackson on her second venture to Sydney, after having made the fastest passage on record from the Old Country. The distance from Plymouth to Adelaide was covered in a little over 33 days, the mail record being beaten by 24 hours.
