At the Warden's Court, Thames, on Thursday the following applications were adjourned :— J. W. Walker, water race an i residence tsite, Wailn ; E. X. Cooper, special claim, Wnihi ; Jas Ilosie piotection for Smile of Fortune and Radical, O.vlnroa; and J. G. Ralph, licensed holding, Waitekauri. Protection was granted to J. MeCombie, on behalf of the*" lumil worth G.M. Co., for three, months, and to K. K. Cooper, for the Winner and Nelson claims, Karaiiyahakc, for one month. J. hi a Combivj was also granted permission to surrender Ihe Kenihvorth L. II , Karangahake, in order to exchange the title for ono under the Act of 1880.
