LATER PARTICULARS. THE SHIP BROKEN UP

Napier, 2 p.m. The Northumberland has not long withstood the buffeting of the waves, and is now completely broken up. The body of Captain, Selter has been washed ashore. It has now been ascertained that the lives lost by the wreck of the 800-jum are four, and not five as stated in the previous message. The four men drowned are: Capt. Setter, Messrs Waddell, Kelv ing ton, and Bain. The latter was a single man, but Kelvington had just been lately married, It is Ijelieved that the Northumberland ia fully insured, but it ib in English offices - and will not affect New Zealand companies. One or two of the Now Zealand offices have slight risks on the cargo.
