XTNDER the provisions of tho River U Boaids Act, 188-1, Puolic Notice is lieraby given that after tho expiration of thirty days from Ist May, 1887, a Petition will be presented to His Excellency tho Governor praying him to constitute that part of the Colony of New Zealand, known ns Ohineinuii County, and intersected by the Ohinemuri, Waihou, Waitoa Piako, and Hikutaia Rivers, a River District under tho provisions of the River Board Act, 1884, and praying him also to declare tho Council of tho suid County a UiVer Board in respect of said rivers.
