Boy Accidentally Shot.

A terrible gun accident happened at Mudgee, when a boy aged 7, named Glancy, accidentally shot a boy named Sneider, aged 4. The two lads were playing together in the house of Sneider's father, when Glancy took up a loaded gun, which was lying in a corner, ready and capped, and began flourishing it, with the result that the charge exploded, entering .Sneider's left side and striking his left lung. A man named Brown, who was outside the house, hearing the report ran in and found the boy lying on ,the floor. The little fellow was conveyed t to the house of Dr. Swantson, who extracted several grains of shot. The doctor considers ,the lad's recovery doubtful.
