TTNDER the provisions of the River U Boaids Act, 1884, Public Notico is hereby given that after the expiration of thirty days from Ist May, 1887, a Petition will be presented to His Excellency the Governor praying him to constitute that part of the Colony of New Zealand, known as Ohinemuri County, and intersected by the Ohinemuri, Waihou, Waitoa I and' Hikutaia Rivers, a River District under the proviaiona of the River Board Act, 1884, and praying him also to declare the Council of the said County a River Board in respect of said rivers.
