The following are the Rules of the world-famed Parcel System which SMITH & CAUGHEY introduced to New Zealand, and have hitherto so successfully conducted, and which hundreds of Country Settlers, especially those residing in remote parts, have learned to appreciate as a very great boon. Ist;.— All Order must be accompanied with Ca«h, P. 0.0., or cheques made payable to Smith & Caughey. Letters containing notes or coin should be registered. Cheques should be crobsed. 2nd.— All Parcels over 20s packed securely in canvas, and sent, freight paid, to any railway station or port in New Zealand reached direct from Auckland. Where freight is demanded please communicate the fact to us. 3rd— Every article guaranteed strictly in accordance with description given. 4th— We willingly substitute for any aiticle in a Parcel not required other goods of equal value. sth— lf any Parcel is not approved of, and returned in good condition " within 14 da^s, we are prepared to rei'uud puichase money in full, and pay carriage bolh ways.
