A Salvationist Wedding. An Exciting Scene in London.
A cable special from London says : After the marriage of JVJLrechale Catherine, General Booth's daughter, to Colonel Clibborn at the Salvation Army Barracks on Tuesday was over, the young woman, wno is a tall and excitable, as well as a rather comely creature, t?ang a song ot which one lino was not very encouraging to the newly married husband, Tha line was " We'll Fight and Never Tire," and to illustrate her meaning in worldly fashion, she squared uff at her husband in true pugilistic shape, dodging her head and shifting her grouad, •>\hile with much spirit she battered him about considerably. The immense crowd and shouted. It was too much for i/he irascible nature of General Booth. Tie dragged out his venerable spouse and they sparred right merrily at each other. When that tired them, the coupleß began a frenzied breakdown, hanging on to each other's waist.
