"VTOTICl!; is hereby given that it is the IL^I intention of the Council of the Ohinemuri County to raise a Loan, under the provisions of the ' Local Bodies Loan Act, 1886,' and the ' Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for constructing the undermentioned works : — (A) Roads in Wailoa Riding, including Rangiora ... 750 0 0 (b) Road, Paerda-llikutaia 1000' 0 0 (c) Road, Pneroa to Te Aroha 10C0 0 0 (d) Road, Pueroft to Waitekauri and Waihi ... 2200 0 0 (c) Waitekauri Crold field, Dinars [subsidised] ... 200 0 0 (f) Waihi Bridge [subsidised] 250 0 0 (q) Kamngahake as under :—: — Rviley's connection with mines, and Extension Te Aroha track [subsidised] 400 0 0 (ii) Mackaytown and Karangahakeßoad 150 0 0 (i) Traffic Bridge 300 .0 0 (j) Mill Road 100 0 0 (k) Puke Road 50 0 0 (l) Cemetery Road, etc. ... 100 0 0 (M) County office 200 0 0 (n) In Redemption of Debentures under Roads and Bridges Construction Act 1348 0 0 (o) Estimated Cost of Raising 34 10 0 (p) In payment of first year's interest 217 10 0 Total £7300 0 0 I. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £7300 0s Od, extending over two consecutive years, and the cost of raising the loan, and the iuterest for one year during the construction of the works, to be paid out of the monies to be borrowed. 11. The repayment of such loan and interest to be half-yeaily, extending over a period of 26 years, as provided by sec. 12 ojE the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886. 111. To pay interest and provido sinking fund, the following securities are proposed to be given :—: — (q) All Goldfields Revenue and Gold Duty becoming due and payable to the County Council from time to time, under the Financial Airangements Act, 1876, and its Amendments. (r) A Special Rate of 4 farthings in the £, to bo imposed and levied upon the rateubJe value of all rateable property throughout the Ohinemuii County, excepting Crown and Native Lands.
