The following is a table, in a somewhat condensed form, which has been compiled by the Rev. Mercer Daviea, showing the bishops who have held office in the Church of England during the last thirty yeare— ■ from 1856 to the close of 1885 —with the amount of personal property they left at atatb, as shown by the records of the Probate Office. Not unnaturally (says tha "Liberator") Mr Daviee's pamphlet with the above title is exciting considerable interest.
