It will be remembered that a short timo ago Hurley successfully resisted a large force of police who attempted to evict him, and he was afterwards arrested for having dynamite in hU possession. The authorities have) been compelled to go to enormous expense to effect the eviction, and it ie computed that the money expended in the eviction proceedings would pay the tenant's rent for many years. At an early hour on Tuesday morning the evicting force went to Ballinaecarthy by speoiftl train to capture "Tim Hurley's Caatle," Mi his house is popularly called. Gale, eub-eheriff, and eight bailiffs, with two cartloads of ladders, tools and other appliances. Owing to the early hour and the secrecy observed, the people were taken unawares. Tim Hurley was absent, being in Cork, awaiting his trial for having explosives in his possession. The evicting party proceeded from the station to Castle View. The only occupants o* the house were Mrs Hurley and her five young children. The poor woman was startled at the unexpected visitors.
