Reciprocity Between South Australia and New Zealand.
Mr Thomas Hardy and Mr Hyland waited upon the Treasurer of South Australia (Hon. J. C. Bray) and represented that in the interest of tine vignerons and fruit growers of South Australia it was de?irable *o enter into a reciprocity treaty with New Zealand, by which New Zealand should admit South Australian wines at reduced rates of not exceeding 2s per gallon ; this colony, on the oth- r haod. admitting oats, barley and timber from New Zealand free of charge Mr Hardy stated he had recently paid a visit to New Zealand, and he thought the feeling thero was favourable to some such treaty being adop'ed as he proposed. The Treasurer promised to inquire into the matter, with a view of ascertainiug whether anything could be done.
