SUNSHINE AT HOME.
No matter the season Wherever we roam, If we have that great blessing — Sweet sunshine at home ; "With a room of our own Where to read and to write, And bright faces to welcome Our coming at night. It matters not either . The cold or the heat, When our loved ones they hasten Our footsteps to greet, Dear father at home, And mother and wife — And then the dear children — The joy of our life. Tea ! now pretty darlings Pot on your best dreas And receive that fond blessing— A father's caress. What are losses or gains At the end of the day? When a father can join With his children at play. Yes ! sunshine at horne — It iB better than gold, Or the rarest of jewels That mines can unfold. And that man he is happy Where'er he may roam — Who is sure of that blessing— Bright sunshine at home.
