LABOUR SCARE.

The West End of London had another labour acare on January 7th. Crowds of unemployed working-men aesetnled in front of the office/? of the local and demanded relief. Ritchie, President of the Board,received a deputation from the crowd ouleide, but said he could promise nothing. When the crowd were apprised of this, they hooted the Government, and marched to Trafalgar Square, where aa indignation meeting was held and resolutions adopted protesting against the Government. Many of the residents and shopkeepers in the vicinity of Trafalgar Square, fearing an outbreak or renewal of the Socialistic riots, closed their shutters and barred their doors, but the meeting dispersed quietly.
