ITALY. SENSATIONAL EVENTS.

Despatches of the 6th January report fearful snowstorms at Florence, Venice, Genoa, and in the whole of Piedmont, interrupting railway and telegraphic communication. Matilda Mari, 18, and Miss Romanxo, 16, Polish art students in Rome, were found suffocated on a bed in a hotel in that city, on January 7th, On the floor of the room lay the body of a man. Letters showed all three had committed suicide. A despatch ot January 9th cays negotiations between tho Vatican and Prussia will shortly be concluded which will enable Emperor William to announce in the Landtag the revision of the May laws. ♦
