SHIPWRECK AT SYDNEY. An English Vessel Lost.

Sydney, January 17. The barque Centurion, of Thompson's line, leaving this pert for London, was wrecked at the North Head this morning. All hands were saved. The weather was stormy at the time the wreck occurred. The Centurion was a vessel of 965 tons, and was commanded by Captain Taylor. She arrived at Sydney from London on 19th November last, and after discharging and taking in cargo was on her way out of the harbour when Bhe waß lost. The Centurion was outward bound in tow ofc a tug, when the warp connecting the two vessels breke, and the Centurion drifted on to the rocks and disappeared in half-an-hour. The vessel 13 nob insured.
