COMMERCIAL. THAMES CATTLE MARKET.
Banks Co.'s Weekly Report.— At Parawai, on Thursday, fat cattle were brought in in full numbers, and the market was somewhat dull throughout, thowing no advance in prices. Steers brought from £5 to £6 each, heifers, £3 7s 6d to £4 7s 6d. Sheep were also penned fully tip to requirements, and were sold at a decline of Is per head, being 8s 6d to 10s for wethers, and 6s 6d to 7s 6d for ewes. Lambs were plentiful and good, and late values were fairly sustained, prices being from 6s 3d to 9s each.
