TWO LIFEBOATS LOST.
Three lifeboats left South Port on December 10, to assist a distressed vespel. The latest report says that the crew of one of tho boats succeeded in rescuing the men on the vessel, but the two other boats were capsized, and it is believed twentyeeven per&ond were drowned. The survivors of one of Iho lifeboat crews say that instoad of righting herself the boat remained bottom up, and that five of their number wore under ifc for an hour in water only knoe deep. Throo of them were suffa cated and two others were rescued.
