THE MOUNT RENNIE OUTRAGE.

Sydney, January 8. The Mount Hennie convicts were executed at Darlinghurst Gaol at nine o'clock this morning. There were only about 150 persons present. Koed, one of the men executed, handed in a written statement to the Sheriff, declaring the innocence of Himself and those who had been reprieved, with the exception of Donnelly. There was no demonstration in or outside of the gaol. Of the four men hanged, Boyce died the hardest; the struggles of the others being brief. SydxVey, January 6. Newman, one of the prisoners sentenced to death for the Mount Kennie outrage, has been reprieved, in consequence of an ex culpatory letter written by Duffy, who is among those sentenced to death. A girl, aged 17, recently reported to the police that on Ihe 20th December, while proceeding home along Cook's River Road, she was set upon by a number of men, who dragged her into an omnibus shed, where she was criminally assaulted by seven of them. The police last night arrested five men on the charge of committing the outrage.
