The Coming Jubilee Year.
Extraordinary preparations are in progreee at Buckingham Palace for Jubilee year. Since the death of the Prince Consort the Queen has never resided at her London Establishment. In January, however, she ia to take up her abode at the Palace for the opening of Parliament, and sho will dvvell more or less in London until the end of the Beason. Within the Palace there are several new suites of rooms which no outside eye has yet beheld. The apartments to wliloh I refer werere-construefced, ie-decorated,anct re-buriiiehed for the Duke of Albany. Before, however, the room couli be completed the Queen had to mourn the loss of her youngest son. Functions of greab splendour are promised to take place at Buckingham Palace at short I intervals throughout next season. The young ladies who are to be presented may count themselves lucky,for the year is to be a memorable one in English history.
