Auckland, Last Night,. There was some excitement in the ; share market this morning consequent upon receipt of good tidings from Cambria mine, shares sprang from 2s Gd to 3s, but in the afternoon again reached old price. The Kentish Lass hag arrived from Cambridge Gulf, bringing 28 returned diggers, from Kimberley, the majority are Wellingtonians universal. The opiu* ion is that Kimberley is a failure. Christchuroh, Last Night. At the hearing of the Timaru murder case, on Monday there will be seven or more witnesses examined, some of whom gave evidence at inquest there. Afterwards a remand fer eight days will be asked for, as it is necessary to procjre some witnesses who reside in various parts of New Zealand and Australia. The fresh evidence is of a most inipoitanfc kind.
