The miners' strike at Illawarra district still continues, and the men seem determined to hold out. About a thousand men took part In the Fire Brigade demonstration on Prince of Wales's Birthday, Severel hundreds of men are still being fed dailyl at the public expense. The Government are doing everything possible by erecting special relief,*. Further rains have fallen in the cojntry, and there are overywhoie good prospects.
