THAMES AND OHINEMURI COUNTIES.
The Chairman of the Thames County Council received on 17th* insfc. the Award of J. E. Fitzgerald, Esq., Commissioner of Audit in tlie matter of arbitration hold under the provisions of) the Counties Act, 187G, between the Thames and Ohiuemu'ri on 'the. 28th »ult. It is as follows :—: — 1. The freehold estates described in the schedule hereto, .being the property of the late undivided County of -Thames upon the 30th- day of September, 1885, shall belong to and arc hereby" vested in tho Ohinemuri County. * -° 2. Alljpevsonal property, being the property of tVe late undivided County of Thames at the dale aforesaid, shall be <be propei ty of and is hereby vested in the Thames County. 3. All liabilities of tho late undivided County of Thames at the date aforesaid shall be liabilities of the Thames County : and the Ohinemuri County shall pay to the Thames County the -sum of L2OOO i in full settlement of its share of such liabilites. 4. And whereas tho Ohinemuri County lias agree! with the Government of the Colony to accept so much of the debt of the late undivided County of Thames . to. the Government as was created under the provisions of the Roads ani Bridges Construction Act for works to be executed in the late Ohinemuri Hiding ; and n special rate was struck to provide the annual amount payable to the Government in respect of such debt ; — So much of the said special rate as shall become payable from '.hue to time in respect, of. property"|rT the Olmioriiuri County shall boloi>§sLk> a»d shall be collected by the Ohinemuri Coulity. 1. AllMhat pi#ee or parcel oT |and situated in the Ohinemur! •Survey District, in the Provincial district of Aucklapd^coutaining'sixteen acrep^'o rooJs, be^the same a little more or less, and boin£ part of a block of land called, or known by the name of '• Pukerimu >io. 1" block numbered 441 7 A, and being unsold residue of the said block of land, which now remains vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the Thames County, and is pait of the iand comprised and described in Vol. 32 fol o 265 of the Register Book of the District of Auckland. 2. Also, all that piece of land situate in the Waihou and^Ohinemuri Survey Districts, in the Provincial distiict of Auckland, containing,^ two roods and twenty- Gj^ perches mofC or less", being lots "sixty4wo, sixty-three," sixty-four, sixty-five^ eighty-one, eighty- two, and eig-Utypt^vce of -a _ |üb-di vision of the land called or fcriownby the name of Te Area o Huatata No. 1, and numbered 373, and being the land comprised and described in Vol. 39 folio 98 of the Register Book of the District of Auckland.
