WAIHI.
Since the last cleaning up for the Union mine, the Martha battery has been standing idle, but several teams of horses are now engaged in carting quartz from the Silverton mine, and the work of reduction will be commenced about the end of next week, by which time there will be a large parcel ready for treatment, otherwise there is not much of importance to note.
