Roscmont. — In the main adit level, which is now in a distance of 470 feet ; the country has not been of a very favourable character daring the last few days, bnt a change fer tho bettor is apparent, and the workmen expect a still further improvement as the level advances towards the lode channel. Union. — Crushing operations for this mine are now proceeding with 20 head of stampers at the Martha battery wheie the stuff is shaping for a payable return. Rilvcrton. — A start was made on Wednesday morning l.ist to cat t quartz to the Martha battery, where ciushing will l)o started early next week. The parcel to be treated amounts to about 50 ton? and a good icturn is expected There is nothing new to report from any of the other mines.
